The crew onboard Helga reports:
We've just got back from Tallinn where we sailed the Open Nordic Championship in Melges 24. It is exactly one year to the World Championship that is going to be held at the same place and we've had a great opportunity to sail in the light winds that is common in this bay.
We onboard Helga, SWE 537 and the skipper Claes Röjning with crew on Sitting Duck, SWE 508, were here to defend the Swedish coulors and did so with greatness among the 24 teams. SWE 537 was in lead after 7 races, but on the last day of racing we had to catch the ferry back to Sweden and coldn't participate in the last final race. The hosting country won with EST 761, Rock City. We on SWE 537 ended up in 4th place and Sitting Duck ended 10th. We are very pleased with the resluts, new in the class as we are, and are looking forward to the World Championships next summer.
