Regattas

KSSS arranges a wide-spectrum of races each year and the goal is to arrange an international championship every season. Our arenas are Saltsjöbaden, Sandhamn and Ranängen. In 2009 we will hold 12 regattas for Dinghies, Keelboats and Multihull boats. The most spectacular and popular competition is the Eurocard Round Gotland Race, which begins and finishes in Sandhamn. At Saltsjöbaden the racing season climaxes with the KSSS Olympic Class Regatta, with over 300 dinghies out on the Baggensfjärden. KSSS Vårrulle, 24 - 25 April

The season premier regatta. New for 2010 is that the F-18 class is joined by C55, 420 and 5o5. For the 420's this is a qualification regatta for the World Championship. 

KSSS Spring Regatta, 2 May

This years come back regatta for classes: Express, F-18 and J80.

Sandhamn Open, 4 - 6 June

Sandhamn Race Week, 3 - 5 July

After last years success Sandhamn Race Week is back 2010. No less than four Swedish Championships are held at this regatta, in the classes Foalkboat, Neptunkryssare, J80 and ORC Int. Welcome to the sailor feastivities in Sandhamn!

Hyundai Cup, 28 Aug

This popular regatta only grows bigger and bigger! This is the regatta where everyone can participate, both amateurs and professionals. All boats gets thier own start time and then the hunt begins!

Swedish Championship - F-18, 28 - 29 Aug

On the waters outside Sandhamn it is desided who becomes the Swedish Champion in Formula 18.

WC Qualifier - Europe Class, 11 - 12 Sept

KSSS welcomes all the Europe Class sailors to this qualifing regatta at Baggensfjärden! With over 130 participantes this is guarantied to be a happening weekend.

KSSS Autumn Cup, Sept 18

This one day regatta offers short, intense races for five different classes: C55, Dragon, Express, F-18 and J80. With all classes on the same course, it's a promise that it will be an actionfilled regatta!
