1 RULES
1.1 The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS). For multihulls the RRS rule 44.2 is changed so that only one turn, including one tack and one gybe is required.
1.2 Class rules for each class will apply.
1.3 ISAF Offshore Special Regulations Category 5 will apply, except for F-18, who has to follow their class safety rules, paddle onboard is required.
1.4 Swedish competitors shall when racing under Handicapping System and Rating Rules follow the licensing rules for advertising as decided by the Swedish Sailing Federation.
1.5 All boats shall in accordance with ISAF Regulation 20 display advertising provided by the event organiser.
2 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Competitors shall comply with ISAF Regulation 19.
2.2 Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance.
2.3 Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organising authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
2.4 A minimum of 10 entries in each class is required.
3 ENTRIES
3.1 Advance entry shall be made online at www.ksss.se not later than June 21, 2009.
3.2 The advance entry shall include the following: name of the regatta, race class, letters, sail no., skippers name, address, telephone no., e-mail and yacht club. Please find the entry form at www.ksss.se.
3.3 The entry fee is: CB 66, Dragon SEK 1 350 Late entry SEK 2 025 F-18 SEK 1 000 Late entry SEK 1 500 J80 and One Design classes SEK 1 650 Late entry SEK 2 475 The entry fee is paid online via the entry form, www. ksss.se. Late entry fee after June 21, 2009.
4 REGISTRATION AND MEASUREMENT CHECKS
4.1 Registration shall be made at the race office not later than Friday June 26, 2009, at 09.30.
4.2 Measurement certificate shall be presented if required by the organising authority prior to racing.
4.3 Measurement checks may be performed.
5 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 The sailing instructions will be handed out upon completion of the registration.
6 TIME SCHEDULE

6.2 Nine races are scheduled.
7 RACING AREA
7.1 The racing areas will be close to Sandhamn.
8 THE COURSE
8.1 Windward-leeward or trapezoid course will be sailed.
9 SCORING
9.1 The low point scoring system of RRS Appendix A will apply, modified so that when three or fewer races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
9.2 Three races are required to be completed to constitute a championship. This regards the J80 class.
10 PRIZES
10.1 Perpetual trophies. KSSS prizes for each class according to the number of yachts entered in the class: one prize for every five yachts or part of five, until a maximum of eight prizes for each class. Swedish Sailing Federation Championship plaques for the J80 class.

Mooring
Competing boats do not pay mooring fee at the KSSS harbours in Sandhamn/Lökholmen between June 25 – 28, 2009.
Tender boats
Tender boats for participating crews pay half the mooring fee during the regatta, from June 25th to June 28th. Electricity is not included.
