WATCH THE START

FROM LAND BY TROUVILLE - SANDHAMN

There are nice spectator areas and the chance to swim and picnic. Perfect for a full day with family and friends while you follow the start via live broadcasts.

You can reach Trouville on foot from Sandhamn's guest harbor. It is 1.6 km to Trouville, about a 20-minute walk.

ON YOUR OWN BOAT AT THE STARTING AREA

The start takes place at Gråskärsfjärden, just south of Sandhamn. Get there with your own boat and contribute to a fantastic setting around the start. From the boat you can follow the live broadcast on Youtube or listen to Skärgårdsradion's direct reporting.

THE COURSE

Gotland Runt Offshore Race was first sailed in 1937. The race has had different formats but since 2024 it starts at Gråskärsfjärden south of Sandön. The race course then goes north along the outer archipelago to the Svenska Högarna, the farthest east of the Stockholm archipelago, before the boats sail south on open water to round Gotland with the finish at Sandhamn.

The race course is about 350 NM long and the Visby Course is 245 NM long.
