Winners of the Gotland Runt Offshore Race 2023

Throughout the day today, the winning boats arrived in Sandhamn, and we can now confirm the winners in all classes. At the top of the podium, the overall winner of Gotland Runt is Team Pro4u with Patrik Forsgren at the helm. Another victory for the team considered by many to be the world's best amateur offshore sailors.

"It was very windy but not survival conditions for us, who have gear for the purpose. The toughest part was the beats towards Hoburgen. It always feels so long when you're almost there. We also set a speed record on board with 21.2 knots," happily shares Patrik Forsgren, skipper on Pro4u.

In addition to the overall victory, there are winners in the classes: Double Handed, Multihull, ORCi, and SRS. Not all boats have finished yet, but we can confirm that none of the boats still navigating the course will be able to beat the now confirmed winners.

In the Double Handed class, Figaro 3 Tutalör stands as the winner with Christian Harding and Joakim Hoppe. They beat J/121 Jolene by 1 hour and 11 minutes, calculated time.

"We've tinkered and fixed a lot on board, but if you have hope on your side, everything works out. It's been cold, it's been windy, and you've asked yourself many times what you're doing here. But it's been fantastic," says Christian Harding, skipper on Tutalör.

"And wet," adds his teammate Joakim Hoppe.

Multihull was won by the 84-foot catamaran Allegra, which crossed the finish line first on Monday. Following them was Gunboat 48 Dancing Bear, finishing this afternoon on Tuesday.
