What a day

Gotland Runt and the ORC Double handed World Championships has now left Stockholm for this year. The worlds largest annual offshore race has again proved itself as the biggest sailing feast of the Baltic. The boats are now on their way thru the archipelago, heading for a long upwind leg aiming south to Gotska Sandön. The journey through the archipelago developed into a tricky downwind race but in generous sunshine and Swedish summer at its best.

Despite so many boats on the start line, all 14 starts went smooth. Very close racing and some loud voices, but over all a very fair sailing. Ok,one false start, a single one, so the schedule was never challenged.
