Bullandö Marina

Race office at Bullandö Marina will welcome you for rigging, boat and sails inspection and launching. From Bullandö Marina, all boats will be towed approximately 8 NM to the island of Sandhamn, the arena for racing. There is no ferry connection between Bullandö and Sandhamn.

Travel to Bullandö

Bullandö Marina, Värmdö, is located a 50-minute drive east of Stockholm. 

Bullandö Marina can also be reached by bus with SL, and takes approximately 50 minutes from Slussen, Stockholm.

What happens at Bullandö Marina

Upon arrival at Bullandö Marina, please check in at the entrance (1) and continue forward with the boat to the rigging area (2). Then continue to Safety check (3), on to measurement and launching (4) and then sails measurement (6).

If you arrive other hours than the Race office opening hours, park your equipage at the parking area (5) and continue with check in when Race office opens. 

The towing area (7) is located at the end of the peninsula, where you also will find the lovely restaurant Bullandö Krog and a gelateria with pizza and sandwiches.

Cars and trailers are to be parked at the designated area (5). Parking for one car with trailer for the week is included in the regatta fee. Parking of additional vehicles is available at additional cost (8).

Please note that accommodation at or nearby Bullandö is limited and that there is no regular ferry transport to Sandhamn from Bullandö. We recommend that you go through measurements, rigging and launching and then continue to an accommodation at Sandhamn.

Towing of boats 

The regatta organization will arrange towing of boats prior to the regatta from Bullandö Marina to Sandhamn, and after the regatta from Sandhamn to Bullandö according to the Schedule - KSSS. Towing between Bullandö Marina and Sandhamn takes approx. 1,5 hours, 8 nautical miles. 

Participating crew members are allowed to ride in the tenders, subject to space, regardless of whether their boat is towed or not.
